Guatemala HueHuetenango may have a nearly unpronounceable name, but this lovely high-altitude grown bean is one of our favorite coffees for pour-over brewing and drip machines. It is farmer processed from planting to shipping. The farms are located in an ideal geographic location, providing exceptional cupping with distinct acidity, fruited flavours and a clean aftertaste.

The Monteverde co-operative supplies us with this specialty coffee from the Amazonas Region of Peru, which has optimal soils and microclimate. The co-op provides marketing, finance and sustainability training for its producers. Their coffees are now winning awards worldwide.
It has a flavour of dark chocolate and black cherry, sweet, smooth and full bodied.
We like this coffee as brewed by drip or French press methods.

Coffees from the Sumatra region have earthy notes and lack the acidity of central American coffees. These attributes produce a rustic, perhaps exotic sensation on the palate. We like to roast this coffee to Full City which brings out the herbal notes. This will make a great, and interesting single-origin espresso as well.

The women who run the Las Marias coffee co-op not only farm their beans, but wash, process and dry them, ready to ship to Fluid Coffee. These sisters definitely twisted the classic business model, by taking charge of their business and financial well being.
Each bag of coffee comes marked with their dream of the future, written by one of the women in the co-op. Their mission is economic stability, family prosperity, generational renewal and respect. We believe they are accomplishing these goals and Fluid Coffee is proud to support these enterprising women.
Twisted Sisters is grown in La Plata, Colombia between 1700 and 2000 meters. The crop comprises a mixture of Caturra and Castillo varietal beans, that we roast to a light City+ level. This coffee has a big brightness and raw sugar sweetness than creates an exceptional brewed coffee.
