Next time you are in the west end, stop by Grow Your Roots Cafe located in Kanata South. This cozy cafe is located a couple of blocks off the beaten track, but well worth finding. The ever changing greeting board will point you right in at 220 Terence Matthews Crescent.
Owner Melanie is a passionate chef, who started providing vegetarian and vegan food at farmer markets and local catering events. Demand was so high, that Grow Your Roots was born just a little or a year ago. Customers are happy because the cafe is already expanding!
Both the cafe and catering menus are extensive, and feature local fresh produce, breads and of course Fluid Solar Roasted Coffee.
The desert selection is also quite extensive, and rich-tasting.
